About the Brotherhood
Gathered at one table, sharpened together.
Who we are
The Barzelian Table is a covenant brotherhood of Christian men. We take our name and our motto — Iron with iron, together — from Proverbs 27:17.
Why we exist
We exist to cultivate Christian brotherhood, accountability, spiritual growth, mutual support, mentorship and meaningful service.
Our Christian foundation
Our fellowship rests on Christ and on Scripture. We gather as Christian men without claiming any denominational affiliation.
What we stand for
Brotherhood that is honest. Accountability that is kind. Discretion that protects. Stewardship that is faithful. Service that looks outward.
Our rhythms
Weekly prayer and study themes, monthly Buddy System pairings, and a Prayer Chain ready to stand with any Brother in need.
Our four projects
Mentorship Programme
Consistent, relational mentorship for young men aged 13 to 24 — in faith, identity, relationships, career and the foundations of godly manhood.
Iron Letters Project
Personal, wisdom-carrying letters written by Brothers to young men in their families, churches, workplaces and communities.
Open Table Initiative
Twice a year, a shared table for fatherless and at-risk young men — to be seen, valued and spoken to by men of faith.
Brotherhood Futures Fund
The community's financial safety net — a collective pool so the Brotherhood can respond practically when a brother faces acute crisis.
